My name is Roy Merkel, and I'm a Software Engineer in the Eugene Oregon area.
Since graduating from Portland State University (PSU) in June of 2006, I've worked in a variety of industries including:

The aeronautics industry.
The gaming industry.
Web design for health care research.

I have used a variety of technologies in my work including:

C/C++ for linux embedded machines.
C-style script and python for gaming software.
PHP and JSP backends for the web industry.
MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases for backend code.
